Hi there! I’m Kara Doherty, an actress based in Boston, MA.

I first discovered my love for acting when I was in my first play, “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” where I made my big debut as an Oompa Loompa.I went on to be in other theatrical productions, but was always more drawn to film and TV.

Cast in my first film at age 9, I realized how much I loved being in front of a camera. In addition to acting, I have background working with individuals with special needs. I want to make the world a more inclusive place and have always been passionate about helping others. In my free time, I enjoy going to concerts and am always down for an adventure.

I love traveling and experiencing new places, even if it’s just an ice cream shop I’ve never been to. If I’m not out exploring, I’m probably at home chillin’ with my two cats Dwight and Angela (cue The Office fans.)
